Managed by APT since the school conversion in 1981, the Nichols Building consists of 58 units for senior citizen housing assisted through the Federal Section 8 Program. This property is located in a residential neighborhood consisting of single family homes. APT has been instrumental in networking with other housing providers in Syracuse and management personnel attend monthly meetings with local officials to determine the current needs of this housing population. In 1999, the Management Team received a Special Recognition Award from HUD Washington for achieving a superior rate for its Real Estate Assessment Center.
