Ashland Commons has been managed by APT since construction in 1984. This property consists of 47 units designed for senior citizen housing, 48 units designed for family housing and one unit set aside for a live-in maintenance superintendent. Because of the diverse demographics, Management has established a strong working relationship with the Ashland Police Department and was instrumental in starting a Neighborhood Crime Watch for this community. In 1999, the Management Team Received a Special recognition Award from HUD Washington for acheiving a superior rating from its Real Estate Assessment Center.
