Apple Village has been managed by APT since construction in 1977. Apple Village contains a total of 232 federally assisted Section 8 units. Two mid-rise buildings contain 100 units designated for Senior Citizens and 132 units are family units consisting of garden style and townhomes. APT is the proud sponsor of Bridging the Generations and has been awarded grants for the Youth Rap Program through the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency. The mission of Bridging the Generations is to empower people of all ages living in Beverly to dedicate themselves as an intergenerational community to the prevention of problems related to the use and abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs by developing healthy and responsible lifestyles. In 1999, the Management Team received a Special Recognition Award from HUD Washington for beeing one of the top 1000 properties in the country. Applicants must meet income eligibility requirements.
